Registration Renewals

The state of Arizona requires you to keep your registration up to date with the MVD, and thus it is important to make sure you have documentation about your registration in the case a law enforcement officer asks you for your registration.

Most places in Arizona will send you reminders about your registration weeks before it is expired. This gives you the time to gather all the required documents or funds to renew your registration and will also tell you if your vehicle requires any test beforehand. Once you have everything you need and conduct any required test, head over to your local 1-Stop and we’ll get your registration renewed for you!

What you will need for registration renewal is:

  • Photo ID (ID card or Driver’s License)
  • Renewal notice received via the mail.
  • Payment (Cash or Card)

Clearing Registration Suspension

Clearing your registration suspension is simple in the state of Arizona and can easily be done at our 1 Stop 3rd Party MVD locations. To clear your suspended registration, you must first find out and understand why your registration was suspended and what is required for it to be reinstated back into the correct legal order.

Once you have found out why it was suspended and cleared the suspension, you should gain your registration back.

Trailer Registration

Depending on if your trailer is used for commercial or non-commercial use and the weight of the said trailer you will seek different registrations within the state of Arizona. These registrations can come as a permanent registration if they meet requirements or a regular (one, two, or five years) registration. Ensure you have all proper documentation when you arrive such as registration and or title.

Motorcycle Registration

Arizona requires all vehicles to be registered, and this includes motorcycles. If you just bought the motorcycle, you have 15 days to get it transferred to your name. Most dealerships would submit all required documentation to a DMV for you, while if you bought it from an individual you will need to do the registration process and pay the fees yourself. We can help you with this process if you don’t know what you require or need.

Off-Road Vehicle Registration

Off-Road Vehicles can be registered as a normal vehicle except for needing to get a special decal to verify it is an off-road vehicle. These decals are required for vehicles to go off improved terrain and be parked onto natural lands. These decals are called OHVs, or Off-Highway Vehicle Decals. Ensure you have the sticker with you or displayed on the vehicle for law enforcement officers to see clearly.

Off-Highway Vehicle Decals, or OHVs, are stickers placed onto vehicles that go off improved terrain onto natural terrain. Such as work trucks going onto grassland, dirt trails, cliffs and mountains, and other terrains that are not roads or highways. They are for vehicles that weigh 2,500 lbs or less and are required to display a valid OHV decal to operate on public or state trust lands.
